EXHAUSTING WORK

To use the Yoshimura can for Suzxuki GS500 I had to make this head pipe adapter out of some old Harley slash cut mufflers. Jerry at Certi-weld in south Phoenix sure can weld!

FLAT SLIDES AND COOLER

New 32mm PWK flatslide carb kit from the guys a MIKES XS arrived today along with a oil cooler/filter the use replaceable honda filter insead of washing out the Yamaha one.

Kicking Out The Kicker!

While changing out the cloudy sight glass I removed the kicker pedal. Cut a disc out of stainless and welded a bolt to the back inserted thru cover and loctited with cup washer. Thigthened againt original rubber seal...now if battery dies I'll just bump start in 2nd gear... VAROOOOOMMM.......

PEGS

Added 1.25 inch steel half spheres at the ends of stock folding pegs. Will have Jamie at Concours Metal Finishing polish and chrome plate them.

Rearsets control arms

Finished out after welding then drilled and tapped for heli joints, now mocked up to measure control rod lengths. Will harden control arms to preserve strength at tapped ends before getting chromed. Next project, new chaingaurd

Back from welder, as allways Jerry did an amazing job. Working on shift and brake arms and linkage.

REARSETS

Fabbed up these using folding passanger pegs from 81 Suzuki Gs 400s, 87 Yamaha FZR 1000 brake pedals and pivots and stock 79 Yamaha XS 650 peg mounts. I'll have Jerry weld em all together.. WAALAA!!! custom rearsets. More photos once basck from welding.

Cafe Racer, last lap!

Fabed up a set of rear exhaust hangers, ran oil lines and mounted velocity stacks on the Mikuni VM3o carbs.

Covers back from the polisher, Sammy is the man! Detailed motor and put them on then painted jugs Hi-temp black. I have been rubbing out the paint and prepping for the wiring (ugh). Still don't know about the seat? Oh and if you're out there, WHERE ARE MY KUNG-FU GRIPS!!!!! MY ANTLER TIPS!! THE BOOZE YOU PROMISED... and, and, and... CLEAN MY YARD!!!

Chrome Swingarm and Marzocchi Shocks

Made 2 stainless 1.75" thrust washer for swingarm and hung Vintage Marzocchi with new stainless and chrome hardware. Chris at Infernal Combustion Designs did a great job stretching the swingarm 2 inches. After chrome plating the stretch section is undetectable on either arm.

Motor goes in.
