EXHAUSTING WORK

To use the Yoshimura can for Suzxuki GS500 I had to make this head pipe adapter out of some old Harley slash cut mufflers. Jerry at Certi-weld in south Phoenix sure can weld!

FLAT SLIDES AND COOLER

New 32mm PWK flatslide carb kit from the guys a MIKES XS arrived today along with a oil cooler/filter the use replaceable honda filter insead of washing out the Yamaha one.

Kicking Out The Kicker!

While changing out the cloudy sight glass I removed the kicker pedal. Cut a disc out of stainless and welded a bolt to the back inserted thru cover and loctited with cup washer. Thigthened againt original rubber seal...now if battery dies I'll just bump start in 2nd gear... VAROOOOOMMM.......

PEGS

Added 1.25 inch steel half spheres at the ends of stock folding pegs. Will have Jamie at Concours Metal Finishing polish and chrome plate them.

Rearsets control arms

Finished out after welding then drilled and tapped for heli joints, now mocked up to measure control rod lengths. Will harden control arms to preserve strength at tapped ends before getting chromed. Next project, new chaingaurd
